Photohides, Photo Tower hide

The other hide in the yard is a tower overlooking the branches of a walnut-tree where birds often perch. Several bird species have their territories around the yard and they often perch on the highest branches for their displays.

The floor of the tower hide is 7m high and roof is at 9m height. This allows viewpoint towards the birds at the level of their position and above the other trees around. As a result a well designed bouque is arranged.

Photohides, Roller hide

Permanent photo hide adjacent to a sand wall where Rollers, Bee-eaters and Starlings breed. The hide is at a secure distance from the nests with no risk for disturbing the birds. Perches in front of the hide are the perches used regularly by the birds in their day to day live and birds are regularly sitting on them throught the day. The use of these perches gives an insight into the intimate live of birds when feeding, displaying, mating or feeding young.

Enjoy!

Photohides, Bee-eater hide

This is a permanent photo hide adjacent to a sand wall where Rollers, Bee-eaters and Starlings breed. The hide is at a secure distance from the nests with no risk for disturbing the birds, but at the same time close enough to their favourite perches where they rest, feed each other or display breeding games and mating behaviour.
The hide faces northeast, appropriate for afternoon shooting with ideal lighting or early morning photography in slightly backlit lighting conditions. The degree of backlighting in the early morning hours is very suitable for art photography. The orientation of the hide is aimed at maximising the use of the specific light conditions, and the green trees nearby secure an appropriate photographic background.

Photohides, Forest photo hide

The hide is located in an oak forest. It is made of wood and faces a small artificial pond. A variety of common birds land to drink and take a bath. The pond is 3.0 by 2.30 metres wide, which permits the possibility to capture the reflection of the bird whilst drinking. The depth is between 1 and 5 cm which is appropriate for a diversity of bird species. We feed round the hide all year round with various seeds and grains, which ensures that the birds remain in the area more permanently.
The hide is suitable for three people, there are seats inside and the use of a tripod is advisable. There is an opportunity to arrange additional branches, logs or stones for perches.
The forest is guarded, therefore the access and traffic of people are limited which guarantees that the birds are not disturbed. The access to the hide is restricted and is possible only with a guide. If you wish to use this hide during your stay, please request in advance.

Photohides, 3D Photo camouflage poncho

The poncho for photography allows easy disguise in a wood or bushes in close proximity to the object you wish to photograph. The outfit resembles oak leaves which resembles the natural environment of birds and animals. This makes you basically invisible to them.

The specifics are that the poncho can be put on top of any clothes a photographer may wear. This suggests that a photographer should be motionless.

The size of the poncho and the elasticity of the material allow every photographer to carry it in a backpack and to quickly hide himself in amongst vegetation. The camera and its tripod can also be disguised with the poncho.

The camouflage costume is suitable for disguising in open areas with scattered trees and bushes. The disguise resembles tufts of grass.

The specifics of this types of costume is that a photographer can put it on top of his outfit. This suggests that a photographer should not move when 'dressed' with the poncho.

The small size and weight allow every photographer to carry it in a rucksack and to quickly hide in amongst high grass, bushes or in the base of a tree. A camera and a tripod can also be covered with the poncho.
